We run Nosterfield Nature Reserve, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, now widely regarded as one of best examples of wetland grassland in the north of England.

A very warm and dry July saw migrating Common Scoter stopping over in Nosterfield and the much appreciated visit of a Caspian Tern. Read on to find out about the Reserve’s other visitors…..many thanks to Andy Hanby for another informative report.
