Join us at Nosterfield Nature Reserve for our little explorers group for pre-school children, parents and carers!
In June, we’ll be focusing on butterflies. We’ll read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar and look out for butterflies and caterpillars on the reserve.
We will have a short walk on flat, accessible paths, a story and some activities.
What you will need:
Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions, including waterproofs and wellies if rain is forecast.
Paths on the reserve are accessible by wheelchair and suitable for those with mobility issues.
Please be aware that there are no toilet facilities on the main reserve. The nearest toilet is a short drive away (1 mile) at the Quarry Visitor Centre.
The event is free of charge but donations are welcome.
Please book tickets for the number of children you wish to bring.
Where to meet:
